It was always a pleasure to return something to those up and coming into the field. For a period of time, I was the Lead Technologist on the weekend shift in charge of minor administrative duties such as making the monthly schedule , checking supplies, etc.

My work at the DC General Hospital facility was a very educational experience as it was considered the number one trauma hospital in the city at that time. Chief amongst my duties involved being part of a highly skilled trauma unit which utilized x ray imaging in dealing with such issues as gunshot wounds, motor vehicle accidents and knife stabbings. In this environment, you learned to be efficient, professional and quick with your work, as individual lives were at stake.

Interest

I enjoy movies a great deal. I try to see not only the mainstream movies but foreign and independent films as well, to provide more depth. I will go see a movie by myself if need. Your happiness should not be contingent upon the presence of others.I also indulge in traveling abroad. When one travels, one can truly appreciate the diversity of cultures and different world-views that exist. In a sense, it's almost like traveling to another world. As such, I have been to Rome, London, Brazil, Singapore, Paris and Spain. I have a small collection of coffee mugs and refrigerator magnets from each country I have traveled to. Computers are also a strong personal interest. I am more proficient than the average laymen in terms of computer concepts and enjoy my monthly subscription to both Smart Computing and PC World. I also truly enjoy the challenge of solving any computer related issues.
