Levi Dobson

I'm Levi, twenty-two year old in Darwin, Northern Territory. I host a television segment on Southern Cross Television called "The Scoop", a weekly guide to whats happening here in the Top End.

Working in media for five years, I've worked on and hosted various projects that go out to a collective audience of two hundred thousand people across the Territory and Regional areas of Australia. Everything from drag racing, to a weekly football wrap to travelling and filming across South-East Asia.

As well as presenting on television, I have acquired a vast knowledge of camera work, editing and filming. I have often had to travel alone to live-stream football games, write my own and others scripts, edit together TV segments and commercials and work at live events.

I have been interested in media, film, acting, performing, writing and directing from a young age. I believe that this is where my understanding of most processes within my field of work come from. I have always been passionate about creating content, and yes, terrible home movies I made as a kid still count...

I'm looking to further my pursuits in media and presenting.

TV Presenter/ Editor / Camera Op.

Employeed at a young age, I started off doing small bits and pieces, filling in on "The Scoop" while the main host was away. I also began filming various events around the Darwin area around the same time. I progressed and was eventually hired on a six month contract as an editor for KIK, doing ads and segments. After my contract, I was given the role as host on "The Boot", which was a weekly football wrap following local AFL team, NT Thunder. After that season, I then became the host of "The Scoop" on Southern Cross Television.
