Leonard Sawyerr is a graduate of Southern Methodist University, where he studied Finance and Marketing. In 2007, he graduated from the Loyola University College of Law and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2008. Now settled in Los Angeles, he runs a private practice, The Law Offices of Leonard Sawyer.His legal work encompasses criminal defense, family law, and entertainment transactions. Leonard Sawyerr is a local Appearance Attorney for the clients of law firms across Southern California. He has appeared in Trial Court, the Appellate Division of the Superior Court, and the Court of Appeals for the Second District. His family law work involves everything from mediation hearings to drafting temporary restraining orders to protect his clients. He has also handled child custody and visitation rights hearings. Mr. Sawyerr has been on the cutting edge of the entertainment business, working with writers, directors, and producers of “websiodes," serialized online content. He drafts confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements to secure the content of production companies.Prior to entering law school and working as an attorney, Leonard Sawyerr worked as a financial analyst for Banc One Capital Markets and for Rock Capital Markets of Chicago. Using his expertise in finance, he analyzed the balance sheets of companies with up to $6 billion in revenue. He also supported traders in the pit of the Chicago Board of Trade by studying option volatility fundamentals to quantify and manage position risks.Attorney Leonard Sawyer remains active with his Sigma Chi college fraternity doing charity work for the Children's Miracle Network of hospitals. He has also given his time generously to the Los Angeles arm of the ASPCA. Mr. Sawyer's fills his leisure time with photography, martial arts, reading, and running.
