Bid Manager


Appointed as Acting Bid Centre Manager & Bid manager Responsible for producing winning bids from the Cassidian Saudi Ltd - Bid Centre, whilst taking ownership of the Proposal Preparation bid phase.

Lead the Bid Team and manage the interface with the Capture Manager, the Technical Proposal Manager (TPM) and Commercial Proposal Manager (CPM).

Manage the complete bid phase including necessary revisions, and to ensure that the requirements and constraints given by the RFP / the customer are considered and respected.

Timely delivery of the bid, the adherence to the bid schedule, and that all relevant reviews and committees are held in due time, and calls for Phase Review 3.

Plan all the bid activities! Therefore structuring the bid, prepare the Kick-Off-Meetings, the bid schedule, bid preparation estimates, needed resources and normally estimate the Project Management related work-package effort.

Ensure the implementation of the "Key Messages" and "Win the Contract Strategy", but may challenge the respective interpretation and the related content of the Technical Proposal together with the CTO organisation, as well as the pricing.

Appointed as SIE PMO Scheduler / Planner for the BGDP (Border Guard Development Project) responsible in creating, maintaining, monitoring and controlling the SIE Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Provideing support to assigned SIE domains in establishing their Domain Level 3 Project Schedules, maintaining the schedule baseline, updating and reporting schedule status, and assessing schedule risk using the scheduling tool. Support the SIE Finance Team in the implementation of earned value management (EVM).

Telecommunications Contractor


Appointed as Communications Site Manager responsible for Thales telecommunications services across Afghanistan ensuring the NATO International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) agreed support contract is maintained. Liaising directly with the General Staff of NATO, and the resident Army G6 Officer and his staff. Responsible for the provision of existing and new services, ensuring service levels were maintained across the infrastructure and maintaining constant customer feedback through satisfaction surveys to ensure all targets were met.

Appointed as a Satellite communications engineer, responsible for Satellite telecommunications services under arduous conditions in southern Iraq and Kuwait. Ensuring the Paradigm agreed support contract for the UK MoD was maintained.

Regional Manager


Promoted on merit from Networks Operations Manager Eastern Region.Appointed as the Paradigm Regional Manager, responsible for telecommunications services across the Central Region of Saudi Arabia including the capital, Riyadh. Ensuring the UK MOD agreed support contract for the Saudi National Guard was maintained.

Liaising directly with the General Staff of the Saudi National Guard, and the resident British Army Field Officer and his staff, managing an 80 man multinational workforce.

Responsible for the provision of existing and new services in support of the National Guard, scoping and planning service request and allocating manpower and resources to the tasks.

Directing regional teams to ensure service levels were maintained across the infrastructure and maintaining constant customer feedback through satisfaction surveys to ensure all targets were met.

2006 - 2008

NOC Manager


Appointed as the Network Operations Centre Manager for the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia, based in Al Khobar.

Responsible for the ongoing management of SANGCOM's Eastern Region, a UK MOD sponsored communications network supporting the National Guard.

Running the Element Management Systems in the Network Operations Centre, managing a staff of 45 multinational workers.

Responsible to the resident British Army Field Officer (Major, Royal Corps of Signals) and his staff for the delivery of the service, including repair, maintenance, configuration control and service delivery within the tight SLA's set by the contract.

Responsible for the maintenance and management of the, Meridian based PABX network.

2005 - 2006

Regional Training Manager


Promoted on merit from Training Instructor at Marconi GPT to Ericsson on transfer of the training contract.Appointed as the Regional Training Manager for the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia, in support of the Saudi National Guard.

Supervising and managing the training of National Guard Officers, Technicians and Operators on an array of technical equipments and systems including SMR (TETRA) Radio, Digital Microwave, Marconi SDH and Tropospheric Scatter Systems.

Responsible for liaison with Commanders to identify training gaps, finalising and confirming training requirements then assembling relevant teams of instructors to carry out the training.

Co-ordinating the allocation of training to field soldiers by centralising the training facilities.

Appointed as a Technical Instructor at the Technical Training School of Signals, Saudi Arabian National Guard.

Training the Saudi Guardsmen on the operation, maintenance and management of the Digital Microwave Radio Systems and VSAT communications networks.
