Movement of the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS)
  • Conducted weekly reading sessions with a different groups of  children where eventually, more than 30 children were able to read and speak appropriately using complete sentences
  • Planned lessons to teach phonics and self help skills where the children were able to sweep the floor, clean the table and wash the dishes after 2 lessons were being conducted
  • Organized and hosted family events e.g. family day & children’s day, and helped out at the games station available at the events.
  • Assisted the therapist in observing and recording the children's behaviors in the classroom.

Welcome! I am Ningzi, currently pursuing my degree course, Bachelor of Science Educational Studies and Leadership at Wheelock College, Singapore. I haven chosen the field of Early Education as I have great passion in teaching and working with young children. Someday, I hope to set up a childcare centre of my own and be able to guide the young children's learning and influence their thinking.
