Objective

I am a GN, who graduated May 12, 2012, as the Valedictorian in the Associate Degree Nursing Program at Weatherford College.  After RN licensure, I intend to get ACLS and PALS certified.  I also plan to obtain certification in emergency room/trauma nursing, critical care nursing, and/or pediatric nursing.  I plan to further my education and attain my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, as well.  I am not seeking a "job", rather I am seeking a career in which I can build upon my current knowledge, build upon my learning foundation, grow as a nursing professional, grow personally, and maintain the highest level of nursing care for my future patients. I want to become well educated in a specialty, and I want to learn all that I can in order to achieve those goals.

Interest

I have a wide variety of interests, and I love learning things, whether it is learning for "fun" or learning to enhance my knowledge for nursing care.  Reading is one of my favorite things to do in my leisure time.  My other all-time favorite thing to do in my leisure time is to go fishing with my family.

Summary

I am not looking for a "job", I am looking for more than that.  I want a career in which I can grow.  I am a fast learner, who is not afraid to ask questions. I am dependable and punctual. I have a positive attitude.   I truly have a passion for helping others, and I believe that I will be an asset to my future employer.  I want to be the best that I can be, give all that I can, and learn everything I can along the way, staying knowledgeable of current recommendations and practices, while providing the highest quality of care that I possibly can.
