Marriage and Family Therapist Anja Christie-Johnson graduated from the University College of Cape Breton with a Bachelor of Arts in Community Studies and Dean’s List honors. She also holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Santa Barbara. Currently, she works as a Therapist in her own private practice. During her tenure as an Intern, Anja Christie-Johnson completed upwards of 3,000 hours of hands-on training with a focus on grief/loss therapy and the clinical treatment of adolescents and adults. Anja Christie-Johnson gained experience in counseling people going through the grieving process while doing volunteer work with Hospice of San Luis Obispo County. Where she attained the position of Hospice Staff Counselor. She is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, an organization dedicated to upholding high standards in the field. She has worked as an assistant on several film sets, including the movies Six and Visitation. She regularly boogie boards. Anja Christie-Johnson is an animal rights advocate. She also regularly visits her home of Nova Scotia.
