Research Intern

  • Organized the laboratory for full IPMC fabrication and fabrication of IPMC samples with different geometrical and morphological features, design of the flutter experimental test-bed with backbone structures
  • Conducted experiments for flutter characterization, and collected data with motion sensors, image and data analysis, and generated plots and maps for a broad range of fluid mechanics and structural parameters
  • Presented and reported results in the annual New Student Convocation at the end of the 10 week program

Engineering Intern

Mack Products USA

  • Used AutoCAD and SolidWorks to render drafts of our products to show potential clientele and to convey clients’ specifications and requirements to engineers and manufacturers abroad
  • Independently followed and recorded daily fluctuations in steel tonnage rates and compiled data; used the data to extrapolate trends in steel rates and submitted monthly reports to CEO
  • Responsible for keeping track of clients’ as well as our own inventory and ensuring timely replenishments
  • Visited trade shows with CEO to obtain new clients and to show new samples of our products to existing clients
