A cum laude graduate from Georgetown University Law Center, Lawrence Goldfarb received an internship at Mayer, Brown and Platt (now Mayer Brown) while studying at the university. During his internship, Mr. Goldfarb prepared for his next two positions as a tax attorney and tax analyst at other large law firms. Lawrence Goldfarb utilized this experience in his role as the President of San Francisco’s GFC Capital Corp., where he made advisory and strategic analyses exclusively within the technology and life sciences sectors. The next transition in Lawrence Goldfarb’s career saw him taking on leadership positions with independent energy development firms, financial groups, and hedge funds. As the founder and former Chief Executive Officer of LRG Capital Group, Mr. Goldfarb managed real estate, debt, and income for his clients, and prepared them for mergers, divestitures, and capital raising. Lawrence Goldfarb applied the same strategies to LRG Capital Group that he includes as part of the many books and articles he writes regarding investment. Today, Mr. Goldfarb acts as Chairman of the San Francisco-based Om Records and Vice Chairman of SessionEx, a technology firm focusing on social workflows.A member of the National Republican Congressional Committee and the American Bar Association, Lawrence Goldfarb remains dedicated to improving his community and the world at large, taking a keen interest in philanthropy and being named the 2010 American Diabetes Association’s Father of the Year. Having moved to Paris at age 18 to attend cooking school, Mr. Goldfarb expresses excitement about bringing his love of cuisine back into his life as he prepares to open a restaurant named Mama Charlottes in San Francisco.
