Volunteer Coordinator

Three Square Food Bank
I efficiently and effectively planned daily activities dealing with large amounts of information for volunteer program including, but not limited to recruitment, scheduling, retention, orientation, and training all volunteers. I supervised all production aspects in a fast-paced environment, focusing on detailed tasks to ensure a smooth, efficient, safe, organized, and clean operation, while delivering excellent customer service and perpetuating a cheerful, up-beat atmosphere. I maintained proficient computers skills to keep accurate inventory; established, managed, and maintained effective, controlled, and ongoing working relationships; supervised diverse individual volunteers, group volunteers and staff in writing and face-to-face, and restocked the volunteer room with product in conjunction with increasingly complex and demanding deadlines. I illustrated great communications oral and written skills with coworkers, donors, volunteers, and site coordinators.  I effectively operated warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks; worked through interruptions, exhibiting excellent multi-tasking skills, while generating accurate output; and made presentations to the public.
