Lauren Metichecchia is a gymnastics instructor for young children at The Gymnastic Spectrum in Danbury, CT. She is certified to practice as a Nurse's Aide by the Connecticut Department of Public Health. She is also certified as a Livestock Artificial Inseminator by the National Association of Animal Breeders. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Animal Science, from Mississippi State University in 2011. Currently, Lauren is working on a second Bachelors degree from the University of Alabama in Nutrition and Hospitality Management.



Early childhood nutrition, Nature vs Nurture and Metabolic studies. Lauren also enjoys Gymnastics as a sport, both teaching and performing.

Long Term Goals

Lauren's current long-term goal is to become a Registered Dietitian for a children's hospital. She would like to work for the United States Air Force.


Medical Professional pursuing a position in diet and nutrition in a children's hospital.
