I started University at ACU as a mature aged student and completed my first and second year subjects before transferring to UTS. In keeping with the Mission of the ACU, several units within the degree focused on business ethics and personal values of the individual in a workplace setting. While at ACU I also completed one compulsory unit of Professional Industry Experience in a not-for-profit organisation.  The purpose of this program was to assist students in linking their studies to the 'real world' of work, and to assist in gaining career employment on graduation.
