Teacher

Sep 2013 - Present
Niles Community Schools

As a Niles Community Schools 1st grade teacher I perform everyday contractual agreements while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic classroom and a positive grade level atmosphere.  As a part of a small teacher my co-worker and I each plan different parts of the day for the entire 1st grade.  We use differentiation based on Fountas & Pinnell scores and Every Day Math assessments.  The MAP (NWEA) test guides an hour of our day, where we teach specific skills to small groups of learners.  When evaluated I meet and exceed requirements of the job.
