Having been raised in Denver, Colorado and now a resident of San Francisco, Laura Crawford is an active community member in the San Francisco Bay Area. Laura Crawford has dedicated her career and life to serving social and humanitarian causes. For more than three decades during her career, Laura Crawford has actively contributed to numerous local charities and philanthropic initiatives, frequently serving as a volunteer and donating funds to various social projects.From 1965 to 1999, Laura Crawford served as a Mental Health and Rehabilitation Consultant at a San Francisco-based rehabilitation center that provided services to the San Francisco Bay Area. Working with individuals faced with the challenges of re-entering society following recovery from mental illness or incarceration, she provided assistance through counseling, tutoring, skill building, relocation, and job placement. In addition to her professional contributions, she dedicated much of her time to serving local homeless shelters, food banks, and other charitable organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area.A graduate of the University of Colorado, Laura Crawford holds a Bachelor of Science in Mental Health and Counseling. Since retiring in 1999, Laura Crawford enjoys spending time with her five grandchildren and husband.
