I used to call myself a "professional temp" because as an actor actively pursing an entertainment career, temp jobs provided the wherewithal to do just that. And while my resume can give the impression that I couldn't hold a job, the reality is that the experience I have gained working with different firms in varied industries has honed my administrative skills to a fine point. I have supported executives in advertising, marketing, banking, law, engineering, entertainment, retail, business services, telecommunications and staffing, among others. Some were permanent positions, some were long-term temporary spots but in each and every case, I worked hard, I learned and I excelled. My current goal is to find a position in which I can put all my experience, talents and skills to good use in a permanent administrative support role. My most current experience is in the legal field, however, my expertise would suit executives in any industry.

Document Production Supervisor, 3rd Shift
I was hired by the in-house temp agency, Support Services Group (this was pre-merger, when the firm was still Rogers & Wells), to manage the conversion of documents from Word Perfect to MS Word on 3rd shift. Two days into my assignment, the 3rd shift DP supervisor quit and I was asked to take over his duties as well. With only one other supervisory position under my belt, I took over 35 employees (both operators and proofreaders) and managed both the regular document production work as well as the conversion of thousands of documents in the middle of the night, on my own, as a temp.
