Larry M. Koonce has served as President and Director of the North American Drilling Corporation (NADC) since establishing the firm in 2006. Headquartered in Plano, Texas, NADC maintains a strong presence in the state’s oil and gas development industry. Larry Koonce and his team rework proven wells throughout the state and actively seek new drilling opportunities. The independent firm oversees all stages of the natural gas and oil prospecting and drilling process from interpreting seismic evaluations to procuring buyers for the oil and gas. NADC's wells range in depth from 5,100 feet to 10,000 feet. A native of West Texas, Mr. Koonce comes from a family long connected with the oil and gas industry. His grandfather was an oil well driller, and his uncle was a career geologist with Sunoco, Inc. Attending Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Larry M. Koonce earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management. Before he founded NADC, Mr. Koonce gained experience as Vice President of a Dallas-based oil and gas company and President of a natural resources exploration firm in Plano. Larry M. Koonce’s diverse industry involvement includes overseeing drilling and field operations, assessing well performance, and evaluating land and equipment lease arrangements. In addition to on-site experience, Larry M. Koonce is well versed in marketing, oil and gas accounting, and managing investor relations. In identifying and acquiring NADC drilling prospects, Mr. Koonce undertakes a thorough review of the area's drilling history, geology, and infrastructure. He and his team have successfully drilled more than 50 profitable wells. Larry Koonce's firm maintains membership in the North Texas Oil and Gas Association and the Wildcatters Club. In his free time, Larry M. Koonce enjoys long-distance cycling to support nonprofit organizations, such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
