the California Archaeological Site Stewardship Program

I am a trained volunteer that works with professional archaeologists to protect archaeological and historical resources by regularly visiting sites and recording changes. All of the dig sites I participate with are based in the California desert.

Coachella Valley Archaeological Society

My job as secretary involves keeping an accurate record of the proceedings of all of the CVAS, Board of Directors, and Executive Committee. I am also the custodian of all of the documents and records of CVAS. I conduct the correspondences and work directly with guest speakers for our public meetings and presentations.

Lost at E Minor 

Lost At E Minor is a global creative culture site for urban influencers; it has a huge social following and mobile readership. My job as one of the staff writers was to research current artists and exhibitions and write reviews/ interviews on their works and shows.

Performance Artist


I have been involved in several performance art pieces all over California, including the California Biennial of 2008. I've worked with several artists including The LA Art Girls, Micol Hebron, Mary Kelly, and Andrea Dominguez. Some of the museums involved include The Getty, LACMA, and OCMA.

I worked as a photographer for the local spiritual community of Victoria, Australia. Photographing mainly Hindu festivals and ceremonies. I was also the main photographer for the Mornington Interfaith Festival.

Education Intern

Orange County Museum of Art

I worked in the education dept. of the museum. My job involved helping out in the office, as well as working with the visiting schools and creating art projects based on the current exhibition. I also assisted with guided tours. The Orange County Museum of Art covers artwork from modern to contemporary.

Turning The Verge 

Turning The Verge was an entertainment talk show based in Orange County, CA. I was involved with casting the whole show.

OC Arts & Culture magazine

For three years I ran an online culture and arts magazine that was based out of Orange County, CA. We covered everything from art show premiers to various art/music/film festivals.

Fullerton Community College

I attended Fullerton Community College to take some studio art courses that were not offered at Chapman University. While there I also TA for a Printmaking class. I also took courses on Business within the Arts, and American Film History. 


Academia Italiana

I spent a semester abroad  at the Academia Italiana, an Italian art and design school based in Florence Italy. I studied Italian and Italian art history.

BFA Fine Arts - Painting

Chapman University

I took courses on everything from Art History, anthropology, gallery running, to painting and drawing. I also helped put on several art exhibitions, and did production design work for the local theater dept. as well as Chapman's dance and film dept.

Curanderismo Part 1: Traditional Healing of the Body

Completed an online class through Coursera on Curanderoism. Curanderoism is an ancient Latin American folk healing practice that has been used all over South American, Mexico, and the USA. 


Archaeology's Dirty Little Secrets  

Brown University

Completed an online class through Coursera on Archaeology. I learned about the discipline of archaeology and it's complex relationship with the past. I was also able to experienced the hands-on nature of the archaeological practice.

Shiva Processes Level 1 & 2

Shiva School of Yoga & Meditation

While I was living at the Shiva Ashram in Australia I took courses on meditation that were offered at their adjacent school. The meditation was aligned with their particular spiritual practices and involved group discussions and guided meditations.
