I have eighteen years experience of developing and executing effective marketing strategies and leading teams to deliver results. My skills and experience encompass the full range of marketing techniques, which I draw on to create innovative approaches that deliver an excellent return on investment.

I have extensive experience of marketing the services provided by universities to organisations and individuals, both in the UK and internationally. These include educational programmes, professional development courses, consultancy services and the commercialisation of academic research. This work impacts on a wide range of industry sectors, including aerospace, automotive and occupational safety. As a result, I have developed the versatility to apply my knowledge and experience to successfully deliver marketing projects in a variety of markets.

I am committed to continuing professional development, holding an MSc with Distinction in Marketing from the University of Leicester, Chartered Marketer status and Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Cranfield University is a global leader in the provision of postgraduate level training and research in technology and management. It has an international reputation for teaching and research, industrial-scale facilities and excellent links with industry. I lead the marketing team within the School of Engineering - a research institute comprising 200+ staff that offers 25 masters programmes, PhDs, 80 professional development courses and research/consultancy services.

Dr Lisa Dorn and I set up Driver Metrics in 2007 to commercialise Cranfield University research into driver behaviour. Driver Metrics is a company wholly owned by Cranfield that has pioneered the adoption of the psychometric assessments to improve occupational driver safety. A range of different variants of the DriverMetrics assessment have been developed for different driver types including fleet, bus and the emergency services. The DriverMetrics assessment is widely used in the UK and internationally by organisations including Unilever, Balfour Beatty and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
