Senior Lighting Designer and Director

The Express Group

For 16 years, Chris Andrus traveled the world lighting news, talk and sports show sets for this San Diego-based company. He singlehandedly helped The Express Group become world-renown for their insight, innovation, and experience by intently creating exactly the right lighting look for their clients' specific audience.

At a neck-break pace in 2003, Andrus and Express installed and lit up over one hundred sets world-wide. Clients like DSF (Germany), CKCO (Canada) NBC (USA) WUSA (DC) were all illuminated by Andrus in that exhilarating year.

With Express, Andrus learned the importance of schedules, budgets and client interaction as well as how to make the process of set lighting design and installation and simple and enjoyable.
