I will be teaching the Phonetics And Phonology course at the University of Winnipeg for the 2012 winter term, beginning in January, 2012.

1990 - Present

I've been involved in music in one way or another for most of my life.  My main instrument is the electric bass, but I'm also fairly proficient on the guitar and keyboards, as well, both of which I also perform on frequently.  I have performed live all over North America, and recorded in studios from Los Angeles to Toronto - on everything from 2-inch tape to ProTools.  I am a founding member of the group The New Meanies - we were signed to Virgin Records, and have performed on the same stage with bands as diverse as Deep Purple, Dave Matthews Band, Alice Cooper, and many other major acts.

2002 - 2007

I held a number of positions in the Linguistics Department while studying part-time towards my Master's Degree.  I served as Teaching Assistant for the Intro Linguistics for a number of years, marked papers for several other linguistics courses, and had two Research Assistantships awarded to me as well.
