Responsible for research supporting oral health care products by initiating, directing, and executing oral health research related to new in vitro research methods (including optical/spectroscopic techniques) and clinical models for product testing and claims support. • Identified and managed multiple external research partnerships to meet the needs of overall clinical and scientific strategy and to support current and future products. • Drove early-stage clinical and usability development for Sonicare's new product platform, Sonicare Flexcare, launched in 2007 as well as the Hydroclean brush head and wear indicator bristles. • Invited by research institutions to present corporate insights on dental research and its future. • Member of a cross-functional team that included our clinic, marketing, market research, R&D, and outside agency tasked to create consumer validated product concepts to feed the product pipeline through 2015. We created these product concepts from insights from consumers, dental professionals, and key opinion leaders. New product development efforts based on these concepts are underway.
