Even though I can be a die-easy fan, I would still like to pursue a career in sports broadcasting, either across the radio or on television.  I received my bachelor's degree in Journalism/Communications from Radford University in the spring of 2011, and have immersed myself in newsrooms and studios for the past three years.

I arrived at Radford with a background in print, and quickly started writing for various student publications.  I contributed an article to The Tartan- that can be seen above- about the cultural significance of a Southwest Virginia music trail.  During my summer internship, I helped shoot and edit a documentary about Floyd Fest X, a regional music festival.

In my spare time, I enjoy going to roots-friendly festivals, and shooting great footage of the bands performing.  I have a passion for exposing unique, unheard music to people, and use the various forms of social media to do so.  My perfect career would have to be broadcasting baseball during the summer, and shooting music documentaries during the winter.
