Principal – Foundation engineering and test drilling company.
Conducted test drilling operations to evaluate subsurface conditions prior to construction on over 300 projects in the Mid-Atlantic states.
Performed analysis on test results obtained and issued reports containing recommendations for foundation design and construction over 120 projects.
Grew the business to included three test drilling rigs and four employees.

Manage physical testing lab and field technicians for construction materials testing company.
Responsible for managing technicians conducting tests in house as well as scheduling and training technicians for field inspection.
Primary customer contact for scheduling tests and field inspections, and all technical questions for testing of soils, aggregate and concrete.
Led a statewide initiative to address bridge deck concrete on Pennsylvania. Coordinated a multi year industry wide research, testing, and field verification program. This resulted in the current use of AAAP for PennDOT bridge decks. This also established the PACA Concrete Technical Committee as the representative authority for our industry in Pennsylvania. 2011 -2013
ACI Examiner/Instructor - Conducted over sixty classes for PACA (PCPC) where over 2600 technicians and inspectors received their certification. Since 1998
As part of a design professional team developed new master project specifications for Liberty Property Trust. These will be used as the model specifications for all new Liberty Property construction. 2014
Began the use of supplemental cementitious materials in concrete production and managed their use to improve the quality of our concrete and provide a superior product. – 1985.
Supplied seven “sections” of I78 construction in the Lehigh Valley. These contracts contained 13 bridges including the seven largest bridges. A highlight was Section 07B, the bridge over the Delaware. Over 20,000 cubic yards were supplied to this project with only one ten yard load rejected load in the entire job. 1985- 1988
Implemented and developed a computer based dispatching and truck tracking system displaying real time truck status thru existing radios before the use of cell phones. - 1988.
Led a statewide initiative to reduce the specified air content of all PennDOT concrete from 6.5 to 6.0%. This enabled concrete producers to supply a better product with reduced rejections and failure rates. 1994 -1996
Supplied the RT 33 Extension bridge over the Lehigh – As part of a team with the contractor and PennDOT District 5, I led the development of mass concrete specifications, modeling, and construction monitoring for three mass placements totaling over 6,000 cubic yards. This project received an ACI award for innovative concrete construction – 2000 - 2001
Incorporated the NRMCA Concrete Delivery Professional program into our business. We became the first local company to have all of its drivers CDP certified. - 2003
Supplied the first LEED certified building in Pennsylvania – The Plaza at PPL Allentown, PA - 2004
