Strategic Communications Consultant

Primary interface between BAH consultants and government customers to ensure brand, marketing and communication projects were delivered on-time. Regularly monitored and standardized communications to ensure consistency with corporate brand guidelines. Selected accomplishments include the following:

  • Supported the VA Claims Transformation Strategic Communications Project by creating the Veterans Benefit Administration communications guide ensuring consistent branded templates (logos, fonts and graphics).
  • Developed monthly training webinars (up to 200 participants) and talking points for the VA Information Security Officers on hot topics within information security, in support of the VA Task 2 Information Security, a task force responsible for building an integrated human capital program. Performed surveys after each webinar to ensure relevancy of topics and solicit ideas for new webinar topics.

  • Developed a second survey to rate satisfaction of AOL food service and used results to support efforts to bring in a new food service vendor. The results indicated the employees would enjoy seeing more variety of food options than the current vendor. A plan of action was developed to bring in Chick-fil-a based on the employee feedback.
