Pilot Kyleen Cane is licensed and instrument-rated in both single engine fixed-wing planes and helicopters. Originally drawn to piloting because she enjoyed the freedom of flying, Cane now owns a Cirrus SR 22 turbo plane which she uses for business travel. With over 1,000 flight hours, she volunteers much of her free time to Angel Flight West, a not-for-profit organization fueled by its volunteer pilots. Angel Flight's primary mission focuses on arranging free air travel for individuals with serious medical conditions, allowing those patients to receive the medical attention they need. Most recently, Ms. Cane picked up a woman with stage four breast cancer and took her home to Utah after having extensive medical treatment for her illness. As a primary profession, Kyleen Cane functions as an attorney and Managing Member of the Las Vegas-based law firm Cane Clark LLP. The firm embraces the spirit of entrepreneurship, helping clients with their businesses, start-ups, and public and private companies. With lawyers licensed to practice in five states and the District of Columbia, Cane Clark provides expertise in several areas including corporate bankruptcy and restructuring, business planning, estate planning and probate, private equity and venture capital, and mergers and acquisitions. Kyleen Cane previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Tele-Lawyer Inc. and offered her services as a member of the Standing Committee on Access to Legal Services by Moderate Income Individuals. Kyleen Cane has shared the insights of her experience as a professor of law, serving on the faculties of a number of schools. She earned tenure at the University of Hawaii College of Business as a Professor of Business Law and Real Estate. She also worked as a Visiting Professor at Whittier College School of Law and at Western State University. Prior to becoming a lawyer and instructor, Kyleen Cane studied and received degrees at the University of California, Irvine, and the University of Southern California School of Law.
