About Kyle Cruz Centerbridge

Kyle Cruz is a senior managing director with Centerbridge Partners, LP, a private investment firm that manages approximately $20 billion in capital and maintains offices in New York City and London. A private equity and distressed debt investor, Kyle Cruz joined Centerbridge in 2007. He currently focuses on investments in the energy and industrial sectors.

Mr. Cruz holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and a BBA from the University of Michigan. He frequently participates in panels on behalf of both schools to educate students on careers within the field of private equity and distressed debt investing.

Strongly committed to giving back to his community, he is a board member of the New York Police & Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund, an organization that provides support and financial assistance for the families of New York City police officers, firefighters, and EMS workers who have been killed in the line of duty. To date, the fund has distributed more than $120 million to affected families.
