About Kyle Cheros

In Pickens, South Carolina, restaurateur Kyle Cheros owns the Southern food eatery Auntie Ann’s Restaurant. He has run the family dining establishment continuously since 1994 and handles financial management, as well as the hiring and oversight of a staff of roughly 20 employees. As a skilled cook, he created the recipes for the country-style dishes that constitute the Auntie Ann’s menu. Kyle Cheros and the Auntie Ann’s team also provide catering, and he schedules food service arrangements for such diverse events as Rotary Club meetings, high school football games, and church functions.

Complementing his knowledge of Southern cooking, Kyle Cheros spends time studying the culinary techniques of various foreign cultures. He has attained experience in Chinese, Mexican, Greek, and Italian cuisines. At present, he practices honing his skills in the preparation of sushi.

Among his extraprofessional pursuits, Mr. Cheros manages his own investment accounts and learns about finance and investment strategies by listening to Mad Money host Jim Cramer and reading such books as The Intelligent Investor by economist Benjamin Graham. He enjoys spending his free time playing black jack and poker, collecting baseball cards, and taking snow skiing trips to North Carolina. Within the local community, Kyle Cheros contributes donations to the Pickens County Library in support of the Pickens Literary Association.
