Hawaii Summer Youth Employment Program— Provide classroom based instruction, employability skills training and on the job monitoring of 1000+ Hawaiian youth(14- 22 years old) across 4 islands. Director of Training, Education and Business Services

Director of Training, Education and Business Services; PSI/MAXIMUS Inc; Chattanooga, TN Tennessee Families First TANF Program— Oversight of two departments of a large TANF program spanning 27 counties of TN and serving 1800+ participants at any given time. As the Director of the Training and Education department I was responsible for maintaining in-house and partner provided training opportunities for our participants, monitoring and providing GED attainment opportunities throughout our service zone and continuously redeveloping and innovating creative and cost effective ways to service large participant populations under strict programmatic and logistical challenges. most notable being the complete transfer of all curriculum to online based courses. As the Director of Business Services, I was responsible for maintaining relationships with the business community at large and facilitating employment opportunities for our program participants. Both roles required strict contractual compliance management, employee relations, and extensive contact with the public as the most visible representative of our program within the City of Chattanooga.

Program provides GED classes, skills training and job placement assistance to low income and at risk 16-21 year old youth as well as connection with community assistance organizations. Duties include program operations, community outreach, participant recruitment, ensuring performance metrics are met for both individual staff and overall program, staff management, technical guidance/compliance, financial oversight and interaction with funding customer.
