Currently, I am serving as a Technical Delivery Owner for the Strategic Platform Program within Personal Insurance, managing a ~$10 million program. My primary duties are to set technical direction, timelines and resource plans for various program areas. These areas include the re-platform of policy administration processing for 23 states from one platform to another to align all state processing for auto business onto a common platform, serve a PI representative for an enterprise transition of software installations for a software product to Travelers employees and augmented staff, and manage the scope and delivery of the strategic third party data integration with the policy administration systems. I manage a team of 7 direct reports and 30 contract resources that support the business re-platform, strategic business rules development, and strategic UI development.
Director of the automobile policy administration platform for the development of more a progressive technology solution based upon a distributed architecture model that support business centers, agents, and sales centers. The primary duties consist of managing a vendor relationship for the delivery and support of a policy administration development product, directing employee resources on utilizing the product to build the auto solution and support any impacting development initiatives on the auto platform, and ensuring the proper knowledge transfer and training of employee staff by the vendor. I served to coordinate of delivery across multiple organizations including product, operations, and IT for vendor releases, and conducted a monthly vendor governance committee session with senior management on the health of the vendor relations in meeting company objectives.
