Karen G. Strouse is the owner of Management Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in the changing telecommunications industry. Her client list includes large and mid-sized service providers, and small telecommunications companies serving targeted industry segments. Ms. Strouse has assisted telecommunications service providers in developing entry strategies for new lines of business, developed and led seminars for strategic planners and marketing managers, and conducted industry and competitive analysis in support of diversification efforts. She has assisted senior management in devising strategies, marketing approaches, pricing, and infrastructure to support new ventures. Ms. Strouse has also assisted clients in preparing business and strategic plans, developing acquisition strategy, performing competitive analysis, and improving operational effectiveness. In various industries, she has directed teams to improve business operations through reengineering of business processes, and assisted management in constructing effective and efficient organizational structures. Her experience includes a thirteen-year career with Bell Atlantic Corporation (now Verizon), serving in a variety of assignments, including Director - Strategic Planning. After serving as a Consulting Manager with international firm Deloitte & Touche, Ms. Strouse founded Management Solutions in 1992. Artech House published her first book, Marketing Telecommunications Services: New Approaches for a Changing Environment, in 1999, her second book, Strategies for Success in the New Telecommunications Marketplace, in 2000, and Customer-Centered Telecommunications Services Marketing in 2004.
