"Empower consumers to LOVE their take away experience."

If you choose me for the job you will get...

A hard working employee who is:

  • Dedicated
  • Quality minded
  • Responsible
  • Team player

I work hard and dedicate myself 100% in the things I do. I don't have a 9 to 5 mindset. No matter the project I will get it done. I will make sure that I can put my name on the project meaning high quality must be archieved in order for me to be proud and happy with what I do. So why choose me? As an member of your product team I will be a great addition. I have been working with the Just-Eat business to its detail since 2009. I know the markets Just-Eat are operating in and the people working at Just-Eat. All bigger releases e.g. like a new iPhone App, dekstop features or internal admin systems are going through me in order to test all its features. Meaning I have insights on how our systems work in the backend and how it reflects the front end. Due to my technical experience in the field I have a lot of opinions on where we should go moving forward. If you combine those technical skills with a strong Google Analytic skill I believe I am a great fit for getting your business to move forward based on as much data as possible. My mindset at Just-Eat: Just-Eat should be a world class leader but today we are "only" world leader. Far from world class. I want to start that journey and revinvent ourselves and make sure that the Just-Eat product once again becomes innovative, modern and the preferred online take away portal no matter the device. Our customers should love their take away experience sothey come again and again. What motivates me? I love a social work environment, challenges and I thrive under responsibility. The bigger the challenge the more hard working I will become. But I will make sure that we have fun during it. I believe this is key for me and for the team to be succesful. I am looking forward hearing from you.

Product Manager ApS

In the summer of 2011 I was promoted Product Manager of ApS. At that time the company was moving away from being a entrepeneurship in to corporate organisation. Meaning all departments needed to become more proffessional in their way of working. That meant more focus on the KPI's and budgets. The transission tought me a great deal of things in order to continue the company growing as it has been doing since its beginning.

I have been working with:

  1. Develping new features such as our mobile apps, offer platform and ePOS.
  2. JIRA - create, QA, implementation of releases into the DK business, overviw on all trouble making issues and UAT
  3. Analysis and insights - especially the MOSAIC analysis with the DK marketing manager Mads Neble was a very important step for us to make in order to understand our consumersbetter
  4. Trade Marketing - controlling the product portfolio to the restaurants and brand material

My main focus is to optimise the DK business with our existing product, provide the product team/Tech with ideas/input for news features needed in the most mature Just-Eat market in order to keep the company growing and support the Tech and Product team in UK with my knowledge/experience on how our system works.

During the last three years I have educated myself in all our internal system and is the one in DK who knows them best. That includes:

  • Tableau
  • JIRA
  • Handle (administration system)
  • CRM
  • CMS
  • Wiki
  • Sales Force (CRM system for the sales team)
  • DR Sitebuilder (minisite tool)
  • Partner Centre
  • Yesmail (newsletter system)
  • Adtech (banner controle system)
  • Wordpress platform for our Just-Eat blog
  • Facebook Adwords
  • Google Adwords
  • Analytics
  • Google Docs
  • Hipchat
  • PSP's like DIBS, Ogone and Cybersourse
  • Card acquiers like: Teller and Nets
  • Google Apps

If I were to mention the results I am most proud of it would be:

  1. Conversion rates of +30 on the website.
  2. NPS score above 60.
  3. Iphone App: Most downloaded app in DK in the category "Food and Drinks" after only one day.
  4. Card Acquier contract which lowered the costs by over 20% in 2013 and resolved a potential loss of 1.5 million DKK in 2012.
  5. Increase of average order value of min. 5% year on year.

Sales and Marketing Coordinator ApS

After a great internship in the DK marketing department as part of my education I was hired as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator a few months after completed my education as a Market Economist.

As a Sales and Marketing Coordinator I started learning about what online marketing is. How an e-commerce company operates offline and how these two could be combined and in the end, optimised. My daily work was about:

Support the DK sales team with sales material and statistics on their performance

  1. ecrm
  2. SEO or SEM
  3. PPC (Google Adwords)
  4. Affiliate Marketing
  5. Social media (I started the fan page on Facebook)
  6. Supported the DK organisation with tech problems (reported to the Tech team in JIRA)
  7. Analysis and insights on the DK consumer and restaurant market
  8. Run national and local campaigns
  9. Direct Marketing
  10. Learned HTML on a basic level

I am proud of the results aÍ showed there:

  1. 20% growth in orders each year
  2. Increase of brandawareness from 65% to 73% (aided)
  3. Getting our consumers to use our fan page on Facebook as a channel for; customer service, competitions and getting inspiration for a takeaway. I left the area with 20.000 fans before we figured out that we needed to hire a dedicated employee to care care of all our social media channels.
  4. Helped the sales team getting restaurants signed and meet their goals on #signings

Marketing Manager ApS

In the beginning of 2011 I was in charge of the DK marketing department. The team included a part time marketing assistant and a graphic designer. As a team we succeded and met all KPI's set by the management. I am especially proud of:

  • #orders (over budget) kept a steady growth trend of 20 % as the business is known for since its beginning
  • Brand awareness - moved it from 73% to 83% (aided)
  • New TV approach (continuesly on TV with fewer TRP's, national discount campaign for the first time)
  • Generated over 20.000 fans for our Facebook page
  • New ecrm approach/design; welcome, normal newsletters strutured
  • Google Adwords performance (lowered CPC and increased CR)
  • Kept our core product up to speed with our Tech department (JIRA system)

During that time I mastered:

  • Budgetting
  • Analysis and insights (the consumer and restaurant market, SWOT and the life circle of our consumers (PLC))
  • Our corporate cusiness - how can the individual countries learn from each other + share my knowledge

Marketing Intern ApS

As part of my education as a Market Economist the last six months should be spent as a intern in a company. At htat time I lived the Head of Customer Care at ApS. He remommended me to the DK marketing team and a couple of weeks after I started,

The first thing I realised once I began at Just-Eat was the lack of online marketing skills at the school. So I was a rookie in its sense that I needed to learn from scratch how online marketing works.  As all internships it can be difficult to find you rplace in the department, but I am a quick learner and ancious of getting hands on things, so they began to give me more and more rsponsibility.

As part of the internship I did a project on how the Partner Center should work. The Partner Center is a Intranet for all restaurants where they can go online and check their orders, invoice, close the business for today etc. I handed the report in to Rune Risom who took the work forward and got it developed. In 2012 we have now 1.500 restaurants online on the Partner Center out of 1.700.

During the internship I learned about:

  • SEO
  • Google Adwords
  • Newsletters
  • Affiliate marketing (Tradedoubler network)
  • Social Media (started the fanpage on Facebook and Twitter)
  • Sales Material to the Sales team
  • Helped the Sales team with all sorts of statistics

After a great internship I finished my education in June 2009 but kept working for Just-Eat for free until September 2009 when I was hired fulltime as a Marketing and Sales Coordinator.

Morten Larsen

Morten Larsen, Adm. Direktør / Managing Director, Aps

"Søren started in Just-Eat as an intern, very quickly, he pushed himself into the Director's office to present his ideas about JustEat. His drive and confidence paid off and we offered Soren job as marketing coordinator, a role which he has evolved at an unprecedented speed. Today Soren an invaluable part of the marketing department, he has also in his own power and will created an overview of the company's technical pipeline and links the DK business to HQ in London - it has given an overview of management and Søren has thus filled several roles at once. Søren is dedicated and he takes pride in completing his duties in the best way, he hates to lose and therefore seeks all the information he can get near by even if it is knowledge that he does not have what I see as a strong skill. My best recommendations for Søren- I am always available for a detailed chat about Soren Kruse. May 24, 2011"

Maria Lambert

Casper Vestereng

Søren is a truly hardworking, dedicated and loyal employee. His high ambitions and his ability to put an insanely heavy effort in every task makes him invaluable to colleagues and company. I worked with Søren at JUST EAT, and we formed a pretty good partnership as Søren was good at listening to and implementing my ideas in our projects, and that was just one of the things that made Søren easy to work with. Søren works well in a team, where he's good at doing what he does best and letting colleagues use their own great abilities for the team to get the best results, but his greatest skill overall must be that he's capable of handling several tasks at the same time. Søren - The Productive Octopus!

Michael Nielsen

Søren is very competent and dedicated to his work. He works independently and is capable of making decisions that will benefit the company in the best way possible. His capacity for work is very large and he is capable of handling many issues at the same time. In time, I think Søren will become a very fine leader in the future and I hope we come across each other again. I give Søren my best and warmest recommendations!
