Developed and delivered education and training to internal employees and outside business clients using a variety of modalities, including classroom-led, web-based and train-the-trainer instruction. Provided subject matter expertise in curriculum development for course development and enhancement. Project Leader for the federally funded grant projects: Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) National Alliance for Training HealthCare for Emergency Response (NATHCER), and the VHA Health Foundation "Innovation in Emergency Management" program. Current assignments include Section Lead development of deliverables on government and state grants for the Department of Defense, FEMA and the Deleware Department of Health and Social Services.

Volunteer and Training Coordinator

Supervised and administered the recruitment and training of 600 volunteers to staff 4 Points of Distribution (POD) sites for the County of Rockwall, TX in preparation for the Strategic National Stockpile. Successfully coordinated both a County Level Tabletop Exercise for Governmental Officials and a Countywide Functional Drill Exercise, supervising over 2,000 participants. Coordinated with public safety agencies and school districts to create Clinic Flow Plans and Traffic Operations for emergency treatment center locations in the event of a Bioterrorism event. Designed, created, implemented and maintained a high traffic organizational website, personnel database program, online application processing, and badge credentialing system to be utilized by a county sheriff’s office.

Coordinated the city’s Continuous Quality Improvement Initiative, Infection Disease Control Program, City Protected Health Information and Freedom of Information Act program, Administrative Patient Care Report billing, EMS recertification and continuing education program for 69 fire rescue personnel. Assisted the Emergency Manager in updating the department’s Standard Operating Guidelines, Mass Casualty Drill Index and National Incident Management System (NIMS) compliance mandate. Developed, researched and wrote open narrative and application style grant proposals for capital equipment funds. Administered federal, state, local and independent grant funding in excess of $2,000,000. Complied and submitted monthly deliverable reports, accounting for 100% of funding. Instituted a Total Quality Assurance accountability program, increasing collected revenue for the provider city an estimated 38.1% over a two-year period.
