Human Resources Assistant Recruiter
My experience in HR began in April 2013 when I was offered an internship at Contract Services Group, a tier one supplier for the automotive industry. After 11 months, I was offered the position of Human Resources Assistant Recruiter for their sister company, Staff Source, a recruiting agency. Both positions have given me a solid foundation but I'm ready to embark on a career.
-Complete the full recruitment process such as: reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, scheduling, conducting interviews, and hiring for specific job openings.
-Attend various job fairs and recruit new employees.
-Complete new hire paperwork.
-Verify employment eligibility using E-Verify.
-Advise, counsel, and assist management regarding job descriptions, planning, and decision making.
-Handle day-to-day administrative duties associated with being a team member of a professional staff.
-Ensure federal and state compliance of FMLA, ADA, and EEO are followed.
