Kristin Geer, Executive Director of the Cancurables Foundation, possesses years of experience as an investigative reporter and producer. Best known for her work at Minneapolis’ KSTP TV, where she functioned as a News Anchor, Geer began her career as a News Anchor and Investigative Reporter for KTHI/KVLY TV in Fargo, North Dakota, in 1995. For her work in this position, she received an Edward R. Murrow Award as well as honors from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Minnesota and North Dakota Associated Press. After moving to a News Anchor position at KPVI-TV in Pocatello, Idaho, Kristin Geer progressed to the role of News Anchor and Special Projects Reporter for Fox 23 News in 1996. While with Fox, she produced 30-minute specials that aired during prime-time hours. In 2006, Kristin Geer established Wall to Wall Media. Located in Edina, Minnesota, the company produced videos for major corporations such as Cargill, Africa Jam, and snack food manufacturer KLN Enterprises, Inc. Wall to Wall Media also functioned as a vehicle for Geer and her husband to create an environmentally focused documentary, Blueprint for Green, which dealt with the challenges of building and maintaining a nontoxic home with a low carbon footprint. Other green-themed shows produced by the company included Cook What You Catch and Kent Hrbek Outdoors. The proud mother of a three-year-old, Kristin Geer enjoys child-centered activities, cooking, and attending church services with her family. Her other pastimes include traveling, golfing, and going to Minnesota sports events.
