Implement Reading Mastery, Language for Learning, and interactive writing(4 year old kindergarten).

Design guided reading lessons using CAFÉ strategies, and create differentiated Daily 5 centers for daily reading instruction.

Integrate the 6 traits of writing and elements of writer's workshop for daily writing instruction.

Analyze and utilize data from curriculum assessments, DRA tests, STAR early literacy, STAR Math and STAR reading assessments to further assist and instruct students to their individual needs.

Use Saxon math, Engage NY/Eureka Math and Zearn math programs to encourage hands on learning and math discussion as well as strengthen the use of technology in the classroom.

Utilize Uncommon Schools and behavior management techniques to encourage a positive and respectful classroom environment.

Participate in weekly PD hours, monthly 1: 1 meetings with principal and instructional dean to reflect on lessons, interventions and instruction.

Collaborate with grade level team in weekly PLC meetings.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and families through constant communication and use of Class Dojo.

Serve as reading and math chairperson for 4 year old kindergarten as well as math chairperson for 2nd grade where we meet monthly with other leaders in the building to discuss subject specific material and reported information to grade level team.
