Volunteer Work

Builders Beyond Borders

April 2007 – April 2009

In Ecuador, our team built three huts for a local church in the barrio town of Nuevos Prosperos, as well as paving a driveway for another local church and making improvements to the land. This trip taught me the universal value of hard work.

In Dominican Republic, our group dug trenches and assisted installing pipes to bring the remote community of Agua Larga, with over 100 people, running water. This experience showed me the impact that just one person can have on an entire community.
