Originally from the Portland area, Kris is a full-time college student in his final year of study at the University of Oregon. He was accepted into the school of journalism and communication in the fall of 2008 and is actively pursuing a degree in journalism with a major concentration in public relations.

  Prior to his acceptance into the full-major journalism program, Kris spent several years working in positions in retail finance, corporate construction, government and higher education through internship and part-time job opportunities. He recently completed an extended summer internship at the Eugene Water & Electric Board in the public affairs department and is looking forward to graduating in March 2010.
