Dubai airport is one of the busiest airports in the world. Emirates airlines has its own terminal for the operations. As a resource allocater/planner, my duty is to scan all departure and arrival flight movements, prioritize, identify critical areas and plan manpower for the each and every areas that requires as per the engagement standards to run the operations smoothly. I will analyze and distribute according to the requirements.
Reporting to the VIP manager. Scan all the flights for VIP movements. Prioritize all the messages from outstations, embassies and higher management. Pre check in all the VIP's and make sure everything has arranged before they arrived. Escort them to the relevant areas and give all the necessary information and make sure VIP smoothly handled in all the touch points.
Greet and welcomes all emirates premium customers to the premium check in area. Accepting them to their desired destinations. Giving all the information's they need to know. Go extra mile to serve the customers.
Preparing all preflight post flight information and documents relevant to passenger, baggage and ramp in back office.
Briefing handling agents how safety means for CX and for a smooth flight turnaround.
Look after in check-in, Boarding Gate or Ramp area as per my allocation.
Handling Baggage services queries and system updates to find passengers lost baggage.
A good team player cooperates with whole team for on time performances.
Handling back office operations such as sending flight movements, special telex’s, catering and important acars telex’s
Serve the passengers to their needs while they are check-in in.
Giving them all relevant information regarding to their travel.
Start the boarding gates on time and smoothly handling passengers for an on time departure.
Completing all back office work related to departures and arrivals.
Role as supervisor to look after the negombo city branch with 20 staff.
Plan from minimum resources to get the job done within company policies.
Ensuring all sales and services meet the company expectations.
Maintaining staff attendance records, over times, leave and branch accounts reports.
