Summary

I am a highly experienced applications lead, developer, administrator and solutions architect with specialist experience of the Salesforce platform.

I have worked with varying sizes of organisations globally, and at different project start points from greenfield implementations, re-implementations, and extensions.

Whilst Salesforce is my platform of choice to innovate, I am also an expert with NetSuite and developing integrations with other apps.

What makes me different?

Like many other professionals in the #SalesforceOhana, I had a previous career working within Sales, Marketing and Customer Services divisions.

I understand the value that can be added to a business through having a correctly configured or developed application that automates as many processes as possible. Thus saving time, money and manpower that can make a business run more efficiently and pro-actively.

But this doesn’t stop on an application level. I am also experienced in designing and implementing integrations between your applications while ensuring they work together in harmony. This, in turn, gives your business the advantage of an application architecture that is truly integrated.

As a result of my experiences – I am well-placed to join virtually any projects and at any stage.

In this role, I work with key enterprise customers to solve business challenges and drive value through product alignment, innovation and enhanced customer experience for a Salesforce ISV partner.

SuMo is a 100% force.com native application that can be added to the Salesforce platform via AppExchange that helps businesses to increase sales performance by helping them create a healthy pipeline, motivate more of the winning sales behaviours & eliminate careless sales habits.

My key responsibilities in this role is to ensure customer success through scoping and delivering projects to drive behaviours that depict success and ultimately improve business performance both in Salesforce and sales teams.

I lead the technical delivery for more complex requirements for our customers, as well as create self-service resources to help ease implementations or to educate customers on how they can get the most out of SuMo’s features.

Application Lead – NetSuite & CRM Apps

Hands-on technical role with focus on delivering the new CRM, ERP, DTM, and productivity applications, as part of a major business transformation programme. The applications in this domain include: NetSuite, Marketo, Callidus Cloud CPQ, DocuSign, Microsoft Azure AD, and Office 365.

I also looked after some of the existing applications within the business, which include: Salesforce, Pardot, DotMailer, and advisory support for a Microsoft Dynamics platform.

Working with other Application Leads, I advised the Technical Design Authority on strategic architectural design, as well as contribute to setting information security policies.

I was a senior stakeholder to the transformation programme delivery team providing technical assurance, solution design, development, and application architectural principles. Coupled with expert knowledge of applications, I ensured the final developed solution meets the requirements gathered in the design phase.

I was also the resident expert in developing in the following languages: JavaScript, Apex, SuiteScript 1.0, SuiteScript 2.0, C#, IronPython, and most front-end scripting (HTML, CSS, PHP).

I ensured availability and security of data through effective monitoring and access controls within the domain I owned.

In addition, I backed-up the resident integrations Application Lead by providing development for custom REST & SOAP API's - both using direct web services and IPaaS platforms such as Jitterbit Harmony and MuvData.

I provided innovative technical solutions for a growing global business' application architecture. I was responsible for owning the application domain, which included: Salesforce, Salesfusion, Intacct, Marketo, and to provide back up capability for the software licensing provisioning system - Gemalto EMS.

Working with other technical and business stakeholders, I advised on development priorities, solution designs, and resourcing on the Business Systems Operations Team (Technical Design Authority).

Whilst in this role, I led the development activity that vastly updated the existing Salesforce platform with the aim to provide a more seamless and simplified experience. This was achieved by upgrading integrations to software licensing, refactoring code to be more efficient (JavaScript and Apex), applying declarative and programmatic automation to streamline time intensive business tasks, and providing user training as well as general user support in the UK and US.

As a key part of my role, I would provide stakeholders technical proposals based on the detailed business requirements gathered. At each stage of development, I would lead customer reviews, create/update support and solution design documentation.

As required, I would also carry out complex data transformation loads by using ETL's such Apex Data Loader, Jitterbit Data Loader, and OnDemand Tools.

I was also the nominated Data Protection Officer for both UK and US entities of the company, ensuring compliance and handling of data protection issues in line with local legislation.
