  • Responsibilities included: Supporting five remote 200gig oracle databases in a productionenvironment, which uses a NILE system of RAW DEVICES to increase performance.Maintaining four NT servers with 10 databases each of 4gig for development and testing. Adding additional datafiles to tables, performing IMPORT/EXPORT from multiple tapes, creating users accounts, assisting developers and testers on day to day database activities.
  • Migrated five production oracle databases version 7.3.4 on Nile 150 to one production oracle database version 8.1.5 on Sun E10K, installed and Configured OEM204 Packs to monitor database activities and also perform minimal Korn Shell Scripting.
  • Supporting an oracle production database of 900gig on a Sun platform.
