I am a multifaceted creative artist, video editor, sound engineer, musician and radio broadcaster, who is seeking  creative projects. I thrive on the interactive human-centric approach that is multimedia, whether as a freelancer or a large scale company assignment.

With a performance track record to backup my experience, I know how to get a job done right. My modus operandi remains a qualitative versus a quantitative approach.

I enjoy producing independent local cultural events, collecting archival music footage from yesteryear, video editing, audio recording and mixing, broadcasting, hiking in nature, non-fiction, and seeing repertory cinema.

@Large Films (INTERNSHIP)

My internship at @Large Films in support of the BAM (Beer and Movie) festival put me in close contact with a receptive and activated team of professionals.  In approximately 300 hours of self-directed work, I accumulated new skills and enhanced ones already acquired.  There were learning hurdles to overcome throughout the numerous projects.  Ultimately my awareness of the many ‘moving parts’ that make a media eventing network led to my becoming a valuable team player.

I began producing my own weekly series of music-cinema screenings at a local theater in Eugene, Oregon. I networked with media outlets to spotlight attention to this work. I advanced my marketing and promotional abilities in Portland to wider audiences, beginning in 2008. During its 14-month long residency at a Clinton Street Theater, I recruited 14 local business to help underwrite the series.
Sound Engineer
My skills in sound engineering go as far back as my work in radio broadcasting (1995). Since that time, I have steadily improved and advanced my understanding of frequency interaction, mixing and the creative use of the studio. Since beginning my degree track in Multimedia & Video Production from Portland Community College, I have added Sound Engineering to further my Multimedia background and training.
Radio Broadcaster
I began broadcasting in 1995 while pursuing an Associates degree in Broadcasting from Los Angeles Valley College. Between 1995-2008, I worked at 4 different radio stations, broadcasting a range of formats with progressively increasing responsibilities. Perhaps, the most challenging of these positions was as a board operator/mix engineer for a live talk show program between 2004-2007, where live production mastery was a necessity.
Video Editor
I have been producing new content since 2006, when I self-produced a music-cinema program in Eugene, Oregon. Since that time, I have progressively advanced my knowledge of editing etiquette, formats, software, workflow and encoding. This took a significant leap forward with the inclusion of Multimedia & Video Production coursework at Portland Community College.
