Kaitlyn Smith is a student athlete at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She became interested in food and nutrition in high school when she realized that what she ate directly correlated to how she performed on the soccer field and on the basketball court. She believes that not only what a student athlete eats but also when foods are consumed is important to achieving maximum performance.  She now has a passion to help educate other athletes to help them enhance their sport performance.
