I am an ambitious Dance student at York University with many skills in leadership and organization that help me to be a productive worker. I have an eagerness to learn new things and take on new challenges or tasks but am also willing to follow instruction. I am a quick learner and think well on my feet. My future goal is to be an dance movement therapist. I have been in theatre all my life and through that I have learned perseverance, as well as what it takes to work in a team.

As a Fitness Instructor at Pop Physique I work 10-14 hours in a studio teaching the Pop Physique barre fitness class. After months of training to master the shape of the class and the specific set ups and clarifications for each exercise it is now my job to take what i have learned and build my own slightly unique classes. Pop Physique is based on the Lotte Berk system.

Head Hostess Trainer

Baton Rouge

As a Front of House team member at Baton Rouge we are responsible for using the Open table system to book and seat reservations. At the front hostess stand we are the ones who answer phones, greet guests and make them feel welcome in our restaurant. We are responsible for setting up any reservation for large parties or adjusting for wheelchair accessible parties. We are also utilized to bus tables, make rollups of cutlery, and run food or drinks to seated tables.  As Head Hostess Trainer I am responsible for the complete training of any hostess staff that is hired.

Canyon Creek

A typical shift at Canyon Creek I am "pivot" which means I am in charge of the other hostesses and I am in control of the Open Table system. I decide where people get seated in the restaurant and keep track of the rotation of serves as well as seating and making reservations. Along with these tasks I am trained as a busser and have done food running and pouring drinks.

Activities Volunteer

Ronald McDonald House

I have been a dedicated volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House on a weekly basis for eleven years. Over the course of these years I have been doing many jobs. While volunteering at the house each week, I take on tasks like cleaning, cooking, answering guest's questions, and answering phones. A main focus of a volunteer on their weekly shift is keeping the house clean for the guests. Volunteers change garbages, clean bathrooms, wash dishes, clean the kitchen, sort recycling, make beds, vacuum rooms, organize toys and donations and tidy the common rooms. I have very good communication skills because of experience talking with guests and families.  In addition to weekly shifts I have also spent weekends at the House keeping things clean and organized and helping guests with anything they need. I learned how to be energetic and kind, and keep even the siblings of sick kids happy and active. These families go through so much and it is important to keep them looking forward to new things like a craft that the volunteers organize, or a movie the volunteers arranged.
