Writing Samples

The attached documents are various samples of my writing. The documents range from traditional press releases to marketing material to special event information. During my time at Minds On I oversaw several re-branding efforts for clients. Argus Software asked us to create and modern look for their sales flyers and Apprisen Financial Advocates launched a total re-brand with new color pallet, font, images, etc. Samples of both of these efforts are attached. While at SBC Advertising I complied a digital media kit for my client, Elmer's Glue. This kit was distributed to traditional media and used in blogger outreach specifically during the 2012 Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) Annual Convention. During my time at Red Roof I was frequently asked to oversee corporate reports, in addition to my PR role. The EVP of Franchise asked me to compile a annual report that was published in the Asian American Hoteliers Association (AAHOA) spring/summer publications. This attached report gave an overall update on current and upcoming projects occurring in our franchise division. Additionally, I've included samples of press releases, marketing material and special event information that I created while at Red Roof.

I have worked with Kim for several years in her role as Public Relations/Marketing Coordinator at Red Roof Inns. As part of our internal and external communications team, Kim was instrumental in quickly disseminating information to address media situations at our properties or sharing information to our corporate employees or properties in the field. It has been a great pleasure to work with Kim and I was always confident that she would do a great job on any project she was assigned on.

Tim McMurdo, Marketing Manager, Apprisen

Kim brings three vaulable assets to the table everytime she works on a project for me. Competence, drive, and creativity. When combined with her wonderful personality and outstanding organizational skills, Kim delivers results with real impact. I highly recommend Kim. If you are lucky enough to work with Kim, you will come away with a win.

Aaron Stenhoff, VP of Marketing, Red Roof Inns, Inc.

I managed Kim at Red Roof Inns where she was the Public Relations/Marketing Coordinator. Kim is a very organized and detailed individual and an excellent writer. Her ability to work independently to get a project completed in a timely and quality manner is above reproach.
