 Oversee, manage and lead the communications efforts for several large, highly visible projects related to the State's Medicaid Management Information System(MMIS) and Eligibility Enrollment Member Management System(EEMMS).

  • Work as a resource on cross-functional teams within SCDHHS' Project Management Office(PMO).
  • Develop communication(e.g. general messages, marketing material, press releases, bulletins/alerts, and technical/operational details) for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with SCDHHS senior staff and other stakeholders to collect feedback and inform project decision making including conducting research, interviews and attend relevant meetings.

Philalethean Alumni Association

The purpose of the Philalethean Alumni Association is to support, encourage and strengthen bonds among the alumni of the Philalethean Society of Heidelberg University. To help promote the Philalethean Society's 100-year anniversary I devised strategies to broaden and strengthen the communication with alumni across the country. Additionally, I liaised with Heidelberg University administration to coordinate news articles and publicity of reunion activities on the university's website and print publications.

  • Established the PAA's e-newsletter; monthly reach is over 500 alumni of the Philalethean Society.
  • Improved the internal and external marketing processes across multi-access channels by establishing open communication between the PAA members and board by leveraging social media, email campaigns and e-newsletter.
  • Coordinate and prioritize communication and event workflows for 100-year anniversary celebration.
  • Work as a resource on cross-functional committees.

  • Developed, edited and pitched media for national, regional and local recognition for approximately 350 hotel locations nationwide.
  • Coordinated and executed over 60 local/regional special events. These directs efforts assisted in Red Roof’s Red Roof Loves Country campaign earning a HSMAI Bronze Adrian Award in 2010 and two HSMAI Gold Adrian Award in 2011 for Red Roof Inn’s Pets Promotion and Red Roof’s Summer Coupon Press Kit

  • Founder of Red Roof’s social media committee in 2009; after extensive research and investigations, I establish Red Roof’s social media presence and was key communicator responding to social media and crisis posts.
