·Worked with ATC business development team to develop opportunities in China. The activities includes development of business strategy and business plan, research and study on potential acquisition candidates, financial modeling andpotential customer contact/negotiation.

·Worked as a coordinator/liaison on components sourcing and supplier development activities in China for ATC new OE product project

·Developed and manage the program to apply automatic transmission into Chinese vehicles for several Chinese customers. Program included redesign of transmission interface to vehicle, external component redesign, development of control system, vehicle calibration and supplier development for all external components including China and USA suppliers, training for a core team of Chinese engineers on automatic transmission theory and function, training for OEMs on transmission diagnostics, warranty and service.

Program Manager- Ford Transmission Remanufacturing Program (at Ford ATO & FCSD, Livonia,Michigan)


·Assumed responsibility for several Ford automatic transmission product family remanufacturing program. The responsibility includes new product/new model launch for remanufacturing, liaison managing engineering changes and manufacturing process change, supplier chain management, quality issue, warranty issue, supplier continues improvement, customer services and costsavings.

·Worked as a liaison between OE product engineering, manufacturing, customer service and remanufacturing supplier for engineering, manufacturing, material, quality, suppliers, field service related issues

·Worked with ATC cost reduction team to accomplish targeted cost reductions $3.25 million in 2003 and 2004, and targeted cost reductions of $2.5 million in 2000 and 2001.

·Managed and developed team members to work directly with OEM component design engineers to develop, acquire approval and implement new salvage process. This included development of PPAP documentation, GR&R, process controls and capability indices.

·Assumed responsibility as the product family team leader for engineering, manufacturing process, quality, material planning, continues improvement, cost reduction and lean manufacturing/Kaizen activities.

·Managed the implementation of ATC’s first million dollar state of art new transmission testing equipment in 1999.

·Served as key team member to ISO/QS9000 and Ford Q1 certification process. ATC was the first company in the state of Oklahoma to receive this certification in 1996.
