Summary

Responsibility and authority rarely align perfectly; mix in the dynamic nature of risk and it gets even tougher to get the right things accomplished well. I have made a career out of effectively building institutional risk management capabilities. From the deregulation of the California Power Market through the global financial crisis, to the 2010 severe drought in the Northwest, my efforts have resulted in prudent decision making, and a growth in understanding of complex risk management issues by C-level and regulatory stakeholders. To achieve the success I have enjoyed, it was essential that I develop top-shelf communication, people, influence, and persuasion skills. Please review what I have posted on this website as well as my profile on Linkedin. Although I am very enthused with current known opportunities and challenges, I am always interested in what is next.
