Responsibilities include implementation, operation, and maintenance of workstations, peripherals and end user computing devices required by the medical center end users. Duties also include advanced hardware and software installation, diagnosis, repair, maintenance and upgrades.
Develop desktop images, software packages, and bug/patch fixes required for desktop systems.
Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future computer hardware needs.
Create standard operating procedures for System Support Technicians and other IT staff on client softwareinstallations and support.
Administer and maintain end user Windows accounts, permissions, and access rights for assigned departments.
Demonstrate and understand HIPAA by following medical center procedures, promoting compliance andmaintaining focus on always achieving protection of protected health information and confidential data.
