My responsibilities at Whitney and Son Seafoods include, invoicing all accounts, taking sales orders over the phone and through our online portal, servicing and providing customer service for walk-in customers, sales support for 5 sales associates, receiving, assisting with accounts receivable, creating purchase orders, answering phones, filing, creating and maintaining their company website as well as light IT duties within the company.

I utilize several different types of software including MS Office Suite, NECS, as well as Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator.

My job duties included but were not limited to:

• Answering incoming calls and operating a variety of office equipment
• Keeping two separate full sets of books, AR, AP, and GL
• Payroll and Certified Payrolls
• Assisting the VP with estimates and bid lettings
• Job Cost Accounting for all jobs
• Scheduling sub-contractors
• I assisted with material inventory and made sure that necessary equipment was scheduled for the correct job site at the correct time
• I assisted with the company's application into the 8A program and after acceptance I was responsible for submitting paperwork in the form of certified payrolls as well as for payment according to percentage of job completions

As a Casey's Store Manager, I managed customer satisfaction, profitability, sales and personnel.

My primary job duties included the following:

• Ensure all Store Employees are effectively trained in all aspects of store operations. My store had a kitchen so I am also trained in prepared food management. 
• Managed and ordered store inventory and gasoline inventory, making sure products were properly checked in and communicated all invoice information to the corporate office daily.
• I established work schedules and ensured work assignments were covered each day. I was responsible for working any hours necessary to ensure the store was open and all shifts were covered.
• Ensured all company policies were adhered to.
• Supervised personnel activity, including hiring, training, salary administration, performance management, safety issues and disciplinary actions.
• I was responsible for completing daily reports and audits, as well as bank deposits.
• I was responsible for maintaining cleanliness and appearance of the interior and exterior of store.
• My store employed on average, 10 employees.
