As the Annual Events chairperson for the WPI Social Committee, I am responsible for the planning and executing of four major events on campus throughout the year, including two week long events. These events have extensive budgets of upwards of $13,000, which I work within the means of, and plan everything from artists and speakers to giveaways and t shirts. From this position, I have gained strong leadership and organizational skills. I have developed many professional relationships with professionals in marketing and advertising industry as a result of working with such companies. As the Membership and Marketing Chairperson of the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Social Committee, I am responsible for developing marketing strategies for all campus social activities including music and comedy shows, trips, novelties and more. My experiences creating unique marketing strategies for the Career Development Center helps me develop new and innovative ways to reach a higher demographic for social activities. In addition to holding Social Committee postions for Worcester Polytechnic Institute, I also serve as the Interim Sunshine Chairperson for the Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority. I am responsible for keeping in contact with sisters traveling abroad for study from Massachusetts to Australia. I also lead a committtee responsible for creating and distributing holiday cards and birthday cards to all of chapter.
I am a sophomore at Worcester Polytechnic Institute majoring in Industrial Engineering with an Operations concentration and a Business minor.
I have held an abundance of organization and charitable leadership positions. I have worked as President of the Future Business Leaders of America in my high school. I am currently an administrative assistant at the WPI Career Development Center where I complete marketing programs to encourage students to attend career programs such as resume building workshops and employer panels. I excel in data entry which has strengthened my knowledge of Microsoft Office, PhotoShop, and data analysis.
